In episode six, which aired on Debre Birhan Fana FM 94.0 on 28 July 2022, the program focused on the challenges of livestock feed in the North Shewa Zone's, Moretna Jiru District. Livestock experts and district administrators were interviewed and shared their experiences with feed challenges in the district and how the district authorities are closely working with the Africa RISING and Accelerating the Impact of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA) projects to increase livestock feed access for farmers. Currently, 265 farmers in the district have adopted feed and forage technologies such as oats, fodder beet, desho grass and alfalfa, and the results are promising. This radio program series is produced by Africa RISING and AICCRA as part of the partnership – Use of interactive radio to scale-up feed and forage innovation technologies in Ethiopia.en_US
