Abstract/Description

This innovation is a web-based data-driven decision-support platform that will help policy makers and implementers to better manage, analyze, and report on groundwater data. Data is crucial for making decisions about the long-term health of the state’s groundwater resources. The tool tracks factors like groundwater availability, quality, withdrawal, licensing, and more. This innovation is currently piloted in Punjab, Pakistan to support the Punjab Water Services Regulatory Authority, established under the Punjab Water Act 2019. It will be further upscaled to the country level in order to support implementation of national and provincial water policies.
