CGIAR Center Directors Committee Minutes, Presiding Chair: P. Sanchez

The Minutes of the CDC Meeting October 1999, Washington DC record the CDC’s follow up on the System Review on the subject of IPR audits, the wholly owned subsidiary, CAS, Integrated Natural Resource, Climate Change, and focus on Africa. In a meeting with the incoming and outgoing TAC Chairs, center on some of TAC’s ongoing activities and DG’s share their views on what a “strategic TAC” will be. Future Harvest and its various activities are reported extensively as is the report of the CDDC which covers AIARC, financial issues, CGNET, and the Gender and Diversity Program. Discussions with the CGIAR Chair include matters such as restructuring of the CGIAR where he invites the CDC to take the lead in the exercise.
