Abstract/Description

A new generation of market-oriented farmers who are open to innovation and aware of the environment is developed in Niamey, Niger. Young students are provided with a wide range of production systems and also taught how to generate income process and market their products, save, and invest. They put ICRISAT’s agricultural technologies into practice by taking part in competitions and winning awards for excellence.
