The Arthropod Name Index is now available on CD-ROM from CAB International. ANI-CD is described as a unique and authoritative database of preferred names for arthropods of agricultural, medical and veterinary importance. The CD-ROM is aimed at, amongst others, university/scientific institute researchers, extension workers and those working in agriculture and human health. For further information e-mail 'cabi@cabi.org' or contact via the address below. A new service from CABI, CAB Access, provides the contents of the top 950 journals in agriculture, forestry, veterinary medicine and other related disciplines from 40 different countries. Once connected to the Internet, subscription to CAB Access provides weekly updates of the journals as well as the required software to search the documents.
