Abstract/Description

The Women in Business Project is developing, promoting, and testing women-led chicken businesses in Ethiopia and Tanzania. This work will bring about the economic empowerment of young women and improve the food and nutrition security of their households through chicken businesses. This video shows the model developed, implemented and tested by the project to support young women veterinarians graduates to act as vendors of improved chicken breeds in Tanzania and Ethiopia to reach women chicken farmers in rural areas and improve their access to markets.
