Abstract/Description
The Smart-Valleys approach has been validated using a participatory approach in Burkina Faso in 4 sites characterized by different climate and soil conditions. Adoption of the approach was observed around the demonstration sites. Enabling factors for large-scale adoption of the approach to enhance farmers' resilience to drought were assessed.
