Abstract/Description

This brief outlines the evaluation of Quality of Science (QoS) in CGIAR Research Programs and its importance for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. It details how QoS is assessed through four key dimensions: design, inputs, processes, and outputs, emphasizing credibility and legitimacy. The brief is intended for evaluators, policymakers, and researchers involved in CGIAR and related initiatives, providing insights into past evaluations (2020-2023), the 2024 Science Group evaluations, and recommendations for future CGIAR Portfolio development (2025-2030). Key findings and lessons learned are also included.
