Abstract/Description
Statement delivered at CGIAR International Centers Week, October 1994 by Mohammed Zehni on behalf of FAO on the signature of agreements between FAO and 12 centers of the CGIAR system to place the centers' collections of plant genetic resources held in their genebanks under the auspices of the FAO as part of the International Network of Ex Situ Collections. CGIAR Chairman Ismail Serageldin's remarks on the same occasion are summarized in the report of ICW94.
