Abstract/Description

This dataset contains the responses from a household survey of 795 farmers in the Woredas of Basona Worena and Doyogena (Ethiopia). Interviewees were from villages which had and had not benefited from the CCAFS climate-smart village program, intended for comparison purposes. The survey was conducted using the Rural Household Multi-Indicator Survey (RHoMIS) tool, which has been documented elsewhere (see related publications below). Most questions were asked relating to the previous 12 months, and pitched at the farm-household level. The topics covered in the survey were: Household demographics Farm land area and tenure Crop production, management, and use Livestock production, management, and use Off-farm incomes Gendered decision-making control over incomes and food produced Food security, including FIES and HDDS indicators.
