Abstract/Description
Paper setting out the responsibilities and commitments of IBPGR and the commodity-oriented IARCs for the use and conservation of plant genetic resources. Approved by TAC at a joint meeting with the center directors during TAC 46, following discussions of the subject at successive TAC meetings going back to TAC 40 following the external review of IBPGR. Transmitted by TAC Chair Alex McCalla to CGIAR Chairman W. David Hopper, the document was an agenda item at CGIAR International Centers Week, October-November 1988.
