The Role of the Board Chair: Board Reference Guide No. 2

Document discussing the role of the chair of an IARC board chair, relationships with the center director, leadership responsibilities, and related matters. This was the second in a series of seven reference guides for CGIAR centers and their boards of trustees, published in 1997. The guides were prepared by the CGIAR Secretariat and the National Center for Nonprofit Boards (NCNB), and reviewed by the Oversight Committee and the Committee of Board Chairs (CBC). The first guide was discussed at the CGIAR Mid Term Meeting in May 1996.
