dcterms.abstractExcellence in Agronomy (EiA) is a CGIAR Initiative that has embarked on a journey with many partners to deliver an increase in productivity and quality per unit of input (agronomic gain) for millions of smallholder farming households in prioritized farming systems by 2030. This Initiative places a strong emphasis on women and young farmers and aims to show a measurable impact on: Food and nutrition security | Income | Resource use | Soil health | Climate resilience | Climate change mitigation. This can only be achieved through and is being implemented in partnership with many different organizations. To learn how the EiA team can improve its performance in working with partner organizations and for reporting, the Initiative conducted a partners’ satisfaction and partnership efficacy survey. The partnership efficacy was checking in on five partnership areas, like shared vision, leadership, accountability, impact delivery, communications and collaboration. The partners’ satisfaction was asking about partners’ levels of content and engagement with EiA’s products, services, technologies and/or bundles of these. The survey was conducted anonymously, but partners could identify contact details should they wish to be contacted by the team. The survey was open from 7 Nov. to 2 Dec. 2024 and took about 10 minutes to complete and offered a mix of closed, open and semi-open questions, asking for level of dis-/agreement. It was sent to 190 partners, and we got responses to the survey from 62 partners which represents a response rate of 33%. The report presents the results from the survey with a short section on some recommendations for consideration going forward and transition to the Science Programs and Accelerators, however, we want to stress that the interpretation of the results can and should be used by colleagues for their own use and perspectives.en
