Charter of the CGIAR

The Charter was adopted by the CGIAR at its Annual General Meeting in 2004. This current text includes revisions approved in 2006 and in 2007. The Charter is not a legally binding document, nor does it impose any legal liability on CGIAR members or other components of the CGIAR system. The Charter is a one volume record including annexes. The annexes contain the rules of procedure and related arrangements of the main organs of the CGIAR System.
