'However, they invaded my province in early 1998 and since then they have been causing alarming damage to food gardens and other vegetations. As they are not native to us, we consider them very noxious and a threat to our food security. After having sighted our good brother s response in Spore 69 (June 1997) from Benjamin Mensah of Teshei-Nungua Estate in Ghana, I am very interested to know more about their potential as a food and for commercial purposes.
