The initiative will focus on opportunities to improve nutrition along value chains to increase the poor’s access to nutritious food; improve the availability, access, and consumption of nutrient-rich, biofortified staple foods for the poor; address food safety issues, including the control of zoonotic diseases and better management of agricultural systems to reduce health risks; and foster integration of agriculture, nutrition, and health development programs and policies. | en |
