Abstract/Description

The cashew (Anacardium occidentale) was introduced from Brazil in the 16th century and has become an economicallyimportant cash crop for a number of African countries. Yields, however, are badly affected by pests. Researchers fromthe International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) have found a local answer.
