Developed specially for nongovernmental organizations in the 66 ACP countries, RlSED's goal is to facilitate the circulation of information on the problems, techniques and the possibilities of NGO participation in community-based actions dealing with environment and development. RISED was established by the European Environment Bureau which has just published its first bimonthly newsletter. The first two issues of a bulletin (to appear three times a year) will be dedicated to trees and soil conservation, respectively. Those interested in publishing information on the conservation of natural resources should contact any of the following organizations.
