Item Commune Agro-ecosystems in Cambodia, a Guidance Manual(Manual, 2012-09)Commune Agroecosystems Analysis (CAEA) is a participatory analysis methodology used by the Department of Agricultural Extension to identify and prioritize agricultural development needs at the commune level. The on-farm pilot started with 3 farmers in 2012 (1.5 ha) in 1 commune and thereafter expanded to 36 farmers in 2013 (20 ha) in two communes around Yali reservoir. It described and analyzed the sectoral decision-‐making set up at national level. Later, this decision-‐making set up was linked with operational rules and procedures of hydropower projects in each of the three countries.
