Abstract/Description
Annual report issued by the CGIAR Secretariat to inform all participants in the System of developments in the financing of activities.Resources available to the CGIAR centers in support of their 1995 activities were $343.5 million, representing a 2 percent increase over the comparable level of $336.9 million in 1994. The stabilization program, including a special contribution from the World Bank, enabled the Group to fully fund its 1995 research agenda, and CGIAR Centers were able to resume their normal rates of spending. The sections of the report cover 1995 highlights, CGIAR funding, the financial position, and compliance with financial guidelines.Annex tables provide information on donor funding and center operations for the period 1991 to 1995, and CGIAR contributions from 1972.
