Abstract/Description
Research on production risks in agricultural production has been received more and more attentions of researchers. However, in practice, there is still little research in this area, especially for those using quantitative methods to estimate production risks. This paper focuses on examining methods used in studying production risk in pig production with a special conditions of Vietnam. As a result, a numbers of methods have been investigated and suggested such as descriptive statistic methods to identify risks, in using a moment-based approach, a Cobb-Douglas production function applied to estimate production risks in terms of money and to capture driven factors of production risk.
