dcterms.descriptionOn December 18th 2002 the Chairperson of the Agricultural Committee released a summary of the proposals made to date in the agricultural negotiations. The aim of the report is to establish a basis for a comprehensive review of the issues faced and the possible way forward. The report covers: market-access issues, including: how to establish targets for further tariff reductions; the management of tariff rate quotas; special safeguard provisions, geographical indications, food safety issues ; other forms of export competition ; domestic-support issues, including the future of the green, blue and amber boxes; the treatment to be accorded to least developed countries.en
