Abstract/Description

This working paper compiles, reviews, and analyzes existing data, literature, and local knowledge about the characteristics of the aquatic food system in Can Tho in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. It is part of a scoping study for Living Lab sites in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam, focusing on aquatic food systems and identifying issues and potential intervention areas for Work Package 3 (“creating living labs for people") of the CGIAR Initiative on Low-Emission Food Systems (Mitigate+). The specific focus of this study is the city and provincial-level municipality of Can Tho, located on the Hau Giang River and is the largest city in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam.
