Management of Sesbania sesban germplasm using in vitro culture

Alternative techniques using in vitro culture have been successfully developed for the management of germplasm of Sesbania sesban. The results of a research at ILCA are presented. Techniques have successfully been developed for the initiation of cultures on Murashige and Skoog media, shoot propagation of selected genotypes for plant breeding, research and germplasm management is discussed.
