Abstract/Description
Report of the fifth meeting of the CGIAR Oversight Committee, in September 1994, presented at CGIAR International Centers Week, October 1994. Matters discussed included CGIAR interaction with national programs and developing country participation, CGIAR genetic resources policy and procedures for the proposed agreement with FAO to place IARC germplasm under FAO auspices. The committee recommended that priority should be given to developing a means for ongoing Systemwide impact assessment, and to public awareness and fundraising activities.Agenda document at the CGIAR meeting in October 1994.
