Report of the NGO Committee Meeting for the period November 2000 to May 2001

Report of the CGIAR NGO Committee on its activities between International Centers Week 2000 and the 2001 Mid Term Meeting in Durban, South Africa. The report focused on Committee efforts relating to civil society inputs into the CGIAR and its change design and management process underway during the same period. These culminated in a Consultation with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) prior to the Durban Mid Term Meeting, which brought together the responses and criticisms of some seventy NGOs, small farmer organizations, and universities to the recommendations of the Change Design and Management Team (CDMT) in the attached "CSO Declaration for Durban, May 2001."
