Abstract/Description
Bacterial wilt caused by the bacterial pathogen Ralstonia solancearum is among the most devastating diseases of potato, particularly severe in tropical Africa. Two training videos were developed for loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) detection of Ralstonia solanacearum in potato in English and French, which can be employed by partner countries for seed certification purposes. Another video for the management of bacterial wilt disease in English, which is aimed at extension workers and farmers to support management of the disease in the field.
